Thank you for visiting my little Blog. I set myself a challenge of creating an original painting every week for a year - 52 pictures.
Most paintings are for sale at a reasonable price. Please email me, or leave a comment if you are interested in owning an original piece of unique art. Why not treat yourself and liberate one of the 52 paintings and be a part of this project. Don't forget to check back in a couple of weeks, you might see something new you like.

Hoober - Deep South (Yorkshire)
This painting is a view of Hoober Stand from the east.
At this time of year ( June ) poppies are very prevalent in the fields around here.
This aspect of Hoober caught my eye as I passed close to Hoober village.
Hoober Stand is a Fitzwilliam Folly built to the north of the village of Wentworth.
Measuring 10" x 6.5" on canvas board, this acrylic painting is #19 of 52.
