Hoober - Deep South (Yorkshire)

Hoober Revisited

This painting is a view of Hoober Stand from the east.
At this time of year ( June ) poppies are very prevalent in the fields around here.
This aspect of Hoober caught my eye as I passed close to Hoober village.
Hoober Stand is a Fitzwilliam Folly built to the north of the village of Wentworth.
Measuring 10" x 6.5" on canvas board, this acrylic painting is #19 of 52.
One a week for a year.
(£10)
