Virtual Paintout - October

" . . nearly there . . "

This is Painting #4 of 52 - I am producing one a week for a year so only 48 more to go !

This painting I did for the October Virtual Paintout challenge,  http://virtualpaintout.blogspot.com/  set in Arroyo, San Miguel de Allende in Mexico.

A location/town is chosen every month, and using  Google Street View

you pick the little yellow man up, walk him around the area and find a location to paint - it's as if you are actually there.

The website explains it clearly.

And this is the location I chose for this month's  Painting

This Acrylic painting on Canvas board measures 10 x 6.5 ins and as always is a gift at only £10.

Painting #3 of 52 - only 49 more to go !

This is Jimmy the Giraffe spotted wandering around Mexborough last weekend, or maybe not -  I really should lay off the red wine for a few days.
Come on take him home - he's looking lost.

This is painting #1 of 52 - captured for prosterity an apple (minus the fruit fly) now on death row !
(6x8ins £10)

Painting #2 of 52 - Being bent and brown around the edges (no not me !) this fair trade variety wouldn't normally have made it's 15 minutes of fame - but you could change all that - this would look good on any kitchen wall !
(6x8ins £10)

A scene like this appeared on a lovely bottle of French Rose wine I've just finished, maybe the painting should have been completed first before I started on the wine !
(6x4ins £10)

A sprig of Pyracantha taking over the garden and invading my shed,
firethorn is a very apt name - ouch !
