Cornwall - Beside the Sea

The Cornish Riviera

On sunny days like today ( Sunday 1st May ) it makes me think about the seaside.
Cornwall especially -  a pint in the 3 Ferrets and sharing a pasty on the beach with good company.
Sounds like a plan to me.

Measuring 10" x 8" on canvas board, this acrylic painting is #17 of 52.
One a week for a year - enjoy.

  2. On a sunny day like today you should never be satisfied with a pint : a couple of pints in the 3 Ferrets.

  4. Hello Mr. D. thanks for stopping by anhd leaving a comment on our blog (The Frog and PenguINN). I admire your persistence in doing a weekly painting. The colors in this one are so bright and cheerful. And, of course, other things always get in the way of getting stuff done as you said in your profile statement.

  5. Thank you for stopping by my blog! I live near a considerably less attractive Cornwall, in Ontario, Canada. But I adore the true British Cornwall, although it has been many years since I visited it. Your painting it lovely!

    PS Tubas rock!

  11. According to my daughter, the Three Ferrets is now referred to as the 'Ritz' - as in 'Fer-rits'....... I can remember when it was called 'The Grub Pub'!! Good luck with your weekly painting discipline.
