Attercliffe Water Lillies II
This is a slight variation on the previous painting (#36) with subtle hue changes due to the changing light conditions in the day.
Every moment of light is subtlety different - cooler colours in early morning becoming warmer
as the day progresses.

This is an acrylic picture measuring 12" x 8" on canvas board, and is #37 of 52.
Nearly one a week for a year.
(Enjoy)
It took me a while to decide but I think I like this one best :-) Have a good day Diane
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane, its certainly brighter and picks up the light better
ReplyDeleteWhat an audacious goal, and I would say that you are doing quite well. This perspective and color palate is great.

I love that tram journey into SHeffield. I like this one with the colours being more vibrant. DO you take a photo first or paint from memnory?. Sorry I didnt catch you at the WI fai - I took my bat and ball home a bit this year I'm afraid. A lot of the WI ladies thought my stall was terrible last year and didn't think we should be selling Bricabrac (even though the WI has a "make do and mend" ethos! and I made them over £100) so they got someone else to do the stall (selling crafts, which I helped them to do as not many of them are crafty!)
